ROOST RESIDENCY 2026
A residency for
Newcastle-based creatives.
The Roost Residency is a six-month opportunity designed to support a local creative to commence, continue or complete a meaningful creative project while working alongside Newcastle’s creative community.
Welcoming you into The Roost Creative in Newcastle CBD, the residency provides free professional membership, dedicated desk space and access to a collaborative co-working environment.
Whether your project is artistic, cultural, community-focused, experimental, commercial or somewhere in between, we want to hear about it.

a creative project, idea or body of work they want to focus on
enthusiasm and commitment
a willingness to engage with the creative community at The Roost
a project that would benefit from time, space and support
Projects can be brand new, partially developed or nearing completion.
