My career started as a journalism graduate working as an online journalist for a local TV station in Scotland. When my contract came to an end, I made the switch to digital marketing with a position at an SEO agency.
A few years later, with a longing to see the land where Neighbours was set, I packed up my bags and flew to Melbourne. I travelled for a few months around the country and ended up in Sydney at a content marketing agency.
In 2015, I found myself moving to Newcastle and unable to find any work in the areas I had experience. With strong encouragement, Civic Web Media was born. Today, the business is bigger and stronger than ever.
